I remember Daddy's hands,
folded silently in prayer and reaching out to touch me
when I had a nightmare.
Well, there was quite a story in those calluses and lines,
the years of work and worry had left their mark behind
and I remember Daddy's hands,
how they held my mama tight
and patted my back for something done right.
There are things that I've forgotten that I loved about the men,
but I'll always remember the love in Daddy's hands.
Daddy's hands were soft and kind
when I was cryin',
Daddy's hand were hard as steel when I'd done wrong.
Daddy's hands weren't always gentle, but i've come to understand,
there was always love in Daddy's hands.
And I remember Daddy's hands a workin' till they bled,
sacrificing unselfishly to keep us all fed.
If I could start over and live my life again,
I'd never take for granted
the love in Daddy's hands.

I enjoyed your lullaby sites, no, I loved them!!!! I think that it's a wonderful thing that you have done.I don't have any children for I am not married & am only 19 yrs old, but I do believe that singing has such an impact on children. I know that one of my sisters Sasha almost 8 yrs old loves to sing,(but not in front of us she's very bashful) she has always been surrounded by music. I mean music, not modern day rap pop or what ever else, but well...music. Gospel, celtic, instrumental, oprea ect... So I think it's wonderful that you have created these sites!!!!
Praise be to God-Tashina
P.S You women all have wonderful voices!!!
Praise the LORD Tashina! I'm so glad Susana told me you had posted a couple of songs as this one just ministered to me. The Lord has blessed you with a sweet and soothing voice. Please keep singing.
Sincerely,
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
